Prestigious Liverpool Law Society prize goes to Tracey Miller Family Law
The whole team at Tracey Miller Family Law is delighted to announce that the company has been named the Best Small Law Firm in the 2015 Liverpool Law Society Legal Awards. It’s a fantastic achievement, especially considering the calibre of the opposition TMFL was up against.
The Tracey Miller Law Firm was already celebrating even before the winners were announced, as going into the event the company was nominated for two awards – Best Small Law Firm and Best Niche Law Firm. This was a fantastic accolade in itself, but to have actually won a prize on the night was a dream come true for the whole team. Commenting on the win, the firm’s principal Tracey Miller said:
“We are thrilled and delighted to have won the award for Best Small Law Firm, a law practice can only be as good as the people who work in it, and this is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of everyone at TMFL,”
The awards ceremony, held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool with its fabulous views over the River Mersey, was a glittering affair attended by 300 of the best and brightest legal professionals in the city.
A niche business competing at the highest level
When deciding who to give the prize to, the independent judging panel had many factors to consider. The judges were impressed by the Tracey Miller Law Firm’s “big firm mentality”, which enables the company to maintain a niche speciality business whilst also competing with larger firms in a tough market. The panel also made mention of TMFL’s expansive knowledge and experience, which could only have been gained by remaining a specialist business. The judges said:
“By restricting its practice to family law, including international disputes, the firm can offer a broad range of experienced and informed advice, if necessary through other networked small firms.”
Other factors contributing to the win included Tracey Miller’s commitment to staff training, as well as investment in vital IT infrastructure. Both of these are often pushed far down the priorities list in small firms, but TMFL believes they are vital parts of growing the business and providing the most exceptional service to all clients.
12 months of impressive growth for TMFL
It may well be that the Tracey Miller Law Firm may not be eligible to win the Best Small Law Firm prize in years to come, as the company is doing so well that it has managed to increase its workforce by 30% in the last year alone. After moving to new premises in the heart of the city, there is now space to double the numbers of staff, as well as being in the perfect central location to bring in new business. However, TMFL core values will always remain intact no matter the size of the firm – specialist knowledge, exceptional 24/7 client service and the very best informed advice.
